What would you like your communication session to focus on?
You can describe what you enjoy about your relationship and what you hope to share as "partners." Also, is there anything that concerns you or any behavior challenges you hope to understand and change?
Our animals sometimes choose a unique job in the home that they'd like to speak about. Other times, they can feel like they belong if we give them an official job. They can even change their behavior when given a new role.
So please share any questions or messages you may have about how your animal sees their role in the home/stable.
Examples:
"Would you like to be my official kitchen helper?"
"What are you doing when you ___?"
"If your job is to greet people on our porch, would that help you to bark less?"
"You help out so much when you ___. Thank you for being here!"
Please list up to 5 questions you would like to ask your animal.
For example, you could ask:
"Is there anything I can do to help you feel comfortable and loved?"
"What could help you to ___ more easily?"
"How do you feel about (a specific situation)?"
If asking preference questions like, "Is there a food or game you prefer?" it can be helpful to give a short list of options your animal can choose from.
Please share any ideas or feelings you'd like your animal to know.
For example:
"Thank you for sharing your love and playfulness with us."
"You look beautiful and strong when you run."
"I love you and hope we can learn how to communicate even better."
